Hello,

Hi Everyone, I just bought the #3851 turntable what i don’t have is the wireing diagram for it, I need to find out if its ac or dc, also what i don’t have is the controler for it, if i had the sheet that goes with it i might be able to make a controler for it. I just bought it for 46.00 on ebay, if you are looking for one that is the best place to go. The turntable is made by rivarossi, but i understand that hornbe bought rivarossi out, i’ll see if i can email hornbe and find out if i can get the parts sheets and controler.

That’s Hornby not Hornbe.
I doubt that Hornby will be able to help, as to the best of my personal knowledge, the Rivarossi turntables were produced back in the 1970’s. Someone donated one to my modular club, but it has no controller, so it’s basically no use to us right now. And I have had zero luck finding any information about the wiring for the controller.
If you have any better luck, would you mind sharing the information (assuming there are no copyright issues)? [:)]

I sold one of those on eBay a year ago. I had it operated on my layout for years. I used the Atlas controller and it is DC powered. Should be easy enough with the directions that come with the Atlas controller. I used a “toy” power pack transformer to operate the motor speed that drives the table. Hope this helps, Jim

Thanks for your help, at least i know that its dc, it still has the 4 prong plug on it, what i have to do is figure out where to put each wire, on the controller it has a red, yellow, brown, and green wire, one is for track power, rotating the table, lifting the table lock, and motor run, do you think you can help me with a diagram, i have plenty of power packs i picked up at the train shows, maybe one day i’ll come across the controller, thanks again rangerover
