Rivorossi AT&SF

I have an Rivorossi AT&SF steam Locomotive with4 wheels, it works good but I am missing the piece that fits over the front light. Does anyone know where I could get one

Unfortunately Rivarossi parts supplies have dried up. However, your local hobby store may still have a few parts on hand. Never hurts to ask. Also try Caboose Hobbies in Denver, they used to have an excellent collection of AHM parts.

Another place is Golf Manor Hobbies at www.GOLFMANORHOBBIES.com or phone them at (513) 351-3849 3 pm-9 pm Eastern standard time. I would recommend phoning them I had better results with the phone than I did with E-mail. Hornby bought out Rivarossi a while ago and have posted on thier website (Hornby’s) their release schedule for some Rivarossi locomotives and rolling stock, but no mention on parts.

If you can find that part, it’s probably going to cost you more than a complete new engine. Look around any local hobby shops in your area and you may find one still sitting on a shelf.

As a last resort, you may be able to find an identical locomotive on e-Bay and keep the one you have now for spare parts.

As others have mentioned, Rivarossi went into bankruptcy a couple of years ago. Their assets have been purchased by Hornby of England, who has promised to reintroduce Rivarossi models, but they are now going to be made in China instead of Europe, so parts will probably not be interchangeable.
