I am kind of assuming you mean Polyfilla, which may be why you’re getting no answers, as that product is not sold in the US. I think it would work OK. Consider using a lighweight spackle product, though. They are really easy to manipulate, even once dry. Somebody wrote a really good article a number of years ago in MR on the use of this product in conjunction with a wet sponge for smoothing. I think it was Jim Kelly. He demonstrated how the dry product could be subtly shaped through the use of a wet sponge to create crowning in roads, wavelets in underlying structure for water, and the like. Experiment!
