in the autobody shop at school, i was putting away a sheet of 2000 grit sandpaper when i thought that it looked like it would for making paved roads on a model railroad. you couild probably paint some lines and stuff on it by hand. it comes in about 10x10" sheets i think.

wow. blows my idea right out of the water. i didnt think to check how much a sheet of 2000 grit costs. those sidewalks are infanally gooder than the walthers cornerstone silewalks. has anyone ever tried to bild one of their merchants row (or simmilar) structures off the base? if not, i use testors glue, is there anything that will dissolve it without hurting the plastic?

I was just looking at that stuff at Michael’s the other night. I was thinking about trying it for roadbed but I think roads would be better.
Try freezing it. Works for super glue.
