Just wanted to give everyone the heads up. At Lowes I found This skid gaurd stair tread. It is perfect size for o gauge, self adhering, flexible and easy to cut, has reflective yellow line like asphalt streets and is less than 5 dollars. I found it in the middle aisle hanging on a hook on one of the end caps between hardware and paint.
Great tip! Thanks for the post.[tup]
Neat idea; great find. I need some help, though - how do you get that yellow line moved to the middle? Or is that just a picture distortion?
Regards,
Bill
The line is off center. I would just cut the left side of the road and move to the left side of the line and blend it in with black fine ballast.
From the headline I thought you were going to say your found a box in the Lowes parking lot with a pre WW2 Hudson, a build a Loco, and an original girls train set unopened.
Wow how nice that would be. If only!
Thanks. Great. Keep passing them on.
I found another version of the same product by the same company just in a smaller aplication. This one was a roll of the material almost the size of duct tape and there ws no yellow line. So I would splice the 2 together creating my road. They should be right next to each other in Lowes.
