By “Road” caboose you’re looking for main-line cabooses only?

Cheers, Ed

Cheers to you too Ed[Y]

I guess this works one of my favorite pictures back from Hugo

Here I am with three good friends, Teresa, the late Joe Sullivan and the B&O C-2170.

Same caboose in my first reply but with a spiffy paint job.

Regards, Ed

This one is parked in Woodsville NH, less trucks, and looking a little shabby. I have no idea what railroad might have owned it.

I believe that’s the Central Vermont 4020:

Thank You, Ed

This one is in Alabama showing severe damage from Hurricane Michael, but I think it is very interesting.

This thread doesn’t have enough B&W pics…

It’s not much to look at here, but it was glorious in real life. It’s one of the International Car Company 81501-81509 series cabooses, maybe 81503? crossing Rockport Road southwest of Bloomington, Indiana in 1971 while working the Monon’s maple Hill Branch in quarry-to-mill service.

I have a couple of those Aladdin Caboose lamps in my collection. They burn with a bright, white light. Good to read by [Y]

Cheers, Ed

I saw this one in Georgia recently.
