Road Pictures of Locomotives

Ya, that would go over really well with the wife when she loads up and goes to a dog show.[(-D]

The rings in the pit are for steam to melt the snow.

OK you got me there. It was just something I saw funny as I’m sure you did too[(-D]

Osceola Wisconsin 2019

I almost got to drive it[:‘(] Engineer in training the day I was there canceled out the possibility[:’(]

Maybe next Summer.

The old park the locomotive in between the buildings trick[(-D]

I like it, I have one of those.

Dakota Missouri Valley & Western RR. Mandan, North Dakota 2017

And another.

They seem to have some long locomotives over there in North Dakota.

It appears to me a Canadian National locomotive was bought and renamed.

TF

Well, I actually caught that one moving! While driving around Missoula I heard a locomotive horn and turned around to see that geep poke it’s nose out from behind that building. So it wasn’t quite parked!

Bellevue, again.

Great Stuff! Ed

I’ll see you and raise you.

Some nice old parts… Parts is parts.

I searched my logs up and down and this is all I could find for old parts

I was thinking it might be acceptable[Y]

TF

This part might work with one of your parts[(-D]

I just gots to say’s[(-D]

I’m was glad BNSF chose the old colors of Great Northern to bring them back to the modern day when they made that decision.

Same colors different day! But do you see the better green hue in the black?

The upgrading of the super dark green to Black (Pullman Green)…Oh Well? I’m glad the Omaha orange stayed[;)] and yellow leaf is yellow.

I liked how the old colors transferred to our modern day.

TF

I do have to say I liked the pullman green better than the black.

Thanks Batman! I’m just replying now, I couldn’t remember the thread that I asked this question on. I’d never been to Banff (and Jasper) before. In addition to the trains, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking! Northern Idaho is nice, but the scenery up in that area of Alberta and British Columbia is just spectacular.

Better days on the East Broad Top, one of my favourite places to visit…

This one is still living:

A NS manifest facing a red block at Bucyrus,Ohio. 765 is 25 mintues behind this train.

Below picture: 765 rolls through and will turn on the Col/San connectors and will head back to Bellevue.

I didn’t notice this thread had come up again until after appetizer time this evening.

I liked them all, especially the Steamers. I’ve always been partial to those.

Another dead horse but I’m sure she was really cool when she had her day… she still looks cool, just ain’t going anywhere anymore[:S]

I saw this dilapidated old GP when I was in Michigan:

-Kevin

A classic Kevin, Just like old muscle machines it would be fun to see her restored.

I love old weathered locomotives and rolling stock. I bet that old GP has some stories to tell if she could only talk.

I must say I don’t think I could ever get myself to weather my N scale locomotives. I would have to brush up my skills and get really good at it before I would ever consider it. They just cost too darn much.
