We built this layout! Great starter layout that my son could learn on, building scenery and laying out the town. We expanded the water part to include a small harbor and RR bridge adjacent to the mine area. We followed the step by step from the MR article.
We have recently moved and are ready to build our next layout.
I am going to build this layout with my son, but instead of the mine, I was going to add 2 more tracks for a yard. I have always wanted to build this layout since it was shown in this issue.
