I seem to remember a few years back and areticle in MR about the author adding a rock quarry to his layout and Ican’t seem to find the article. I think it was sometime mid decade. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Except there’s a long thread on the subject from July 29th 2010 from the Forum here. Possibly you could find the answer you’re looking for there.
I started reading it and found it a bit interesting. I think I was a young buck back then.

January 2013 might be what you think of. It was a 4 part series of building a Quarry at the end of a branch.
