Tried the ceiling tile deal, worked out pretty darn good. What is meant however by stressing the tile? I attacked mine with a wire brush, lightly, but enought to lose all the sharp edging. Also, is there a fixant put on the tile to toughen them up? Do folks put hydrocal on the tile before coloring? Thanks, Jake
Jake - I just painted mine with plain old latex interior house paint. It seals very well. Then painted shades of other colors with craft paint, slightly thinned with water.
