I recently saw something about some HO scale bolster pads(?) that were offered to make one truck move only laterally and the other longitudinally for the recommended 3 point suspension. I forget where I saw them. Does anyone know who makes these?
Are you talking about E-Z RIDER 3- point truck supension unit? http://home.freeuk.net/nmrabr/p87/home.htm
I have always found this three point system to derail on my layout. I must have bad track work! If this idea is to stop car wobble, I’ve found it better to add weight to the NMRA standards and this has helped me with wobble.
Hello cspmo,
Thanks for your reply. You were right - E-Z Rider was what I saw that looked interesting. Have you used these and if so would you recommend them? I was planning to use semi-scale wheels such as Branchlines’ with mainly code 83 and code 70 flextrack. I’m just hoping to get started with products that I won’t have to change later because of poor performance. Thanks again - I’ve never used message boards before but you’ve shown that they work - I was going nuts trying to remember were I saw the washers.

deschane. It may not be your track work…I had problems with the 3 point system as did many club members…I found the 3 point system cause my cars to wobble bobble down the track so,I returned to my tired and true method as my standard which solved the old wobble bobbles.[:D]
