I have the fairly new HO Roundhouse 4-4-0 with DCC & sound. I would like to remove the tender body to access the decoder. Does anyone know how to remove it. I suspect it snaps iinto place as I see no screws looking at the bottom. Thank you.

There are six screws in the tender floor; one for the drawbar, one for the coupler, two for the trucks and two for the tender shell.
Thanks. Those were sure buried. I looked at a tender for an older Roundouse 2-6-0 and those are snap on type.
I am sure the screws are needed because the tender housing is a sound box also. I was amazed at how much the sound level changes when I popped out the coal load. Sure makes a point for a good speaker enclosure.
