Does anybody have any information or photos (or know where I can find some) on the old roundhouse that was at NAS Miramar (now MCAS Miramar). It appears that when the Marines took over the base, the roundhouse was torn down, and I had only seen it once when I was little. Google searches came up empty handed so if anybody has information on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Try google maps go to San Diego follow the maps to the old NAS then click on to satellite photos and scout around the base where you think it may have been, the old ATSF lines are still there but I don’t know where the roundhouse was.
i tried that already. thats how i know its not there anymore. i was just wondering if anybody had any information or pictures on it. thank you for the suggestion though.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind seeing some photos of that either… I had no idea they had one there at some point.

009: try contacting a model railroad club in San Diego,t here are a bunch on the internet, I would think someone out ther would be helpful, I have used this system a few times and the clubs really can help.
