Sorry, but I can’t help other than to suggest that you may have to make some homemade repairs. In the meantime, lets give this a BUMP to get it back onto page #1 and see if someone else may be able to help.

Hi, Rick! Welcome to the forum!

This is the kind of situation that calls for some “thinking outside the box”. It may be possible to salvage the “bogie” (we call 'em “trucks” on this side of the pond). A tried-and-true cure would be to drill out both the truck and the body and mount with a screw instead of whatever mounting was used before. Clearance-drill the truck (bogie) for an 0-80 screw, then tap-drill the body and tap that hole 0-80. (See Micro Mark for 0-80 taps.) if you already have a hole in the body for the truck mount, plug it with a bit of styrene (a casting sprue, when heated and stretched, will provide a round plug of the right diameter), then drill and tap.

Of course, if the truck itself is ruined, contacting the manufacturer may be your only option.

You may also want to consider converting to knuckle couplers, in which case you can clip off the coupler on the truck and body-mount a knuckle coupler on the rear of the tender. Use styrene to build up a mounting pad so that the coupler will be at the correct height.

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated.I was already thinking about doing a home made repairs but as ive just started refreshing my n gauge collection which im about build in my garage i dont have the nesessary size screws to do the job,no doubt as i get up n running n things start to take shape then i will no doubt get round to sorting it out
