Last night I was watching CNN & I saw a commercial for both CSX & NS. I was impressed.

How about the GE commercials with hard hat guys standing around singing to their locomotives? I guess the railroad business has finally figured out that advertising pays big in public relations. I can’t wait to see Tiger on the running board of a BNSF Dash-9.

Haven’t seen the CSX commercial, but I’ve seen the NS “lonley gallon” commercial many times. I think it’s by far the best commercial they’ve done in a number of years.

I think GE must have decided to give the “Take My Breath Away” commercial a rest. I had not seen it for quite awhile, but just yesterday a short version of it ran.

I love the GE ad, but the gas cans theme for the NS isn’t bad either.
