Anyone know if RR-Track is compatible with Windows Vista?
I don’t want to drop $100 if it isn’t and their website says nothing about Vista.
Being a Microsoft Vista technician as my day job often we come across compatibility issues with Vista OS and as manufactures are slowly getting there software submitted to Microsoft for testing. If we can’t give our customers a reaonable answer we will often confernce in with the manufacturer to get the facts from them, only they know for sure. checking there site at http://www.rrtrack.com/ shows the following Compatible with Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. So unless there in the works of making it compatible with vista or have it done and just haven’t updated there site your best bet is to email them as I see no phone number available ( I hate when that happens )
Often we have gotten applications by Vista by simply right clicking on the executable file going to properties, clicking compatibility tab and choosing run this program as winxp.
I have RR-Track 4.02 software on my PC. I have Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit version). I also am using Atlas RTS 7.0 Freeware and have had no problems with either.
