RS10 wanted

hi everybody

i was recently scanning through a locomotive roster site until i came across a Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW) RS10, and i’m just wondering if anyone knows where to get one, or if anyone has kitbashed or scratchbuilt one of these.

Just superficially they are real close to an RS-11 Alco. The top shoulders on the high hoods would have to be filled in and rounded. But for the most part it’s very close.

Like Like proto makes and EXACT CPR RS10 (and 18 for the matter). You can find them at your LHS or from many many online retailers.

Hi guys

thanks for the replies on the RS10. As i was looking over the roster site i discovered a locomotive called the RS10s. i’m wondering if there is any difference between these two trains.[%-)]

P.S. i forgot to mention that i was looking for it in HO scale.

There probably isn’t enough of a difference to worry about too much.

If there is, then the Proto offering would be extremely close if you wanted a spot on match for the CP unit. Easily enough modified with detail parts
