I get an error message “UNWISE.EXE not installing” What gives? Downloaded RTS10setup and RTS8setup. Both do the same thing. Downloaded from atles web site.

It seems that the download sites files have been infected. The spy ware programs I run tagged both of them.
Unwise is the uninstall script for the Wisescript installer that a lot of stuff uses. It can be used by spyware, so it produces false positives frequently. I wouldn’t consider it spyware just from its presence. Its one of the most common install scripts around.
I read that part of the description. But what gets me is why is the setup not opening the file? It states that it can’t find it. And that’s why I looked it up.
I just tried it and it installed fine. I was using 8.0 and 10.0 has a lot of new features that will benifit me!
Try disabling your anti-virus/spyware software while doing the install. It may be preventing the install. Be sure to re-enable afterwards,
You beat me to the punch. My laptop originally had The Norton Antivirus on it. I disabled it, then uninstalled it, and then downloaded RTS. I have Trend Microantivirus and it doesn’t give me anywhere near the problems.
