Knoxville & Augusta railway a young couple learned that the fireman was a justice of the peace. Interviewing him at the first stop they hastened to the locomotive and climbed into the cab, where the fireman-magistrate all grimy and greasy and attired in his overalls stood on the footplate and spoke the few words necessary to marry them. Then the bride and groom ran back to their car, the whistle blew and they were off on their honeymoon
