Runaway boxcar

Im not sure if this has been posted, as I am new, however, I did search around for it, and I did not find anything.

Well there’s a lawsuit… I’m just trying to understand how they didn’t see the thing coming. Not that I blame the driver, but it looks like they would be looking right at it.

While they were all looking for a boxcar, a bulkhead flat snuck-in and bit 'em[:-^][:-^][:-^]

I’m glad nobody was killed. This could have been much worse after looking at the pictures/video cam. Does anybody know if the gates, or other warning devices were activated? I’m thinking that the runaway car was moving too fast for the gates to have made that much of a difference.

I believe the crossing had only crossbucks, but still, the driver needs to look both ways. People just think a few seconds of their time is more valuable than their lives and I just don’t understand it.

An amazing story. Gratefully, no one was killed.

I agree that a lawsuit will be coming in the near future.

Yup–Somebody is about to get out their checkbook.[8]
