Running through the new scenery

Had a great time, Sunday, running trains for hours through some of the new scenery at the Club.

I finally weathered the EM-1

It’s always a great day when you can run for hours on end and the layout and engines perform flawlessly

looks awesome!! [tup]

looks great

That looks great! Obviously if you can run for hours without incident you have done your work properly. Well done!

Is that a club layout or a private layout? I seem to recall some pictures a couple of years ago of someone who had purchased a property with a gymnasium sized layout space. Is that you?

Dave

Dave, sorry didn’t say it’s the club layout. (browser froze on first attempt, edit and added in post ) We have 60+ devoted members w/ an unbelievable crew that really loves doing these structures. I enjoy the rockwork, bridges and landform portion. If you go to http://www.ssmrc.org/ the site shows all history and layout. Next year we will celebrate our 75th anniversary. The oldest continuously running club in US.

awesome, looking scenery and locomotives.

Club or not, it is still pretty amazing. I spent the better part of 10 minutes picking out all the super detailing in the structures and landscape. Hand laid track to boot!

Please pass our comments on to your club, and we wish you another 75 years (at least) of success.
