Is it supposed to do something? All is does is open the picture in a small window.

Problem solved!

You have a beautifully detailed layout! Cool factor is that it’s designed for local switching operations and continuous running. I’m sure you can spend hours on end having fun on this railroad [8D][tup].

Hope you don’t mind this one critique though. I see that you’re using the old style Atlas “snap-switch” turnouts. These can be a pain. The turnout blades (switch points) are thin, stamped metal that can eventually become misaligned at the points nearest the rivets, even after filing down.

For a well done layout like this, I would respectfully suggest using Peco or Shinohara turnouts. They appear more realistic and are very reliable for the short and long run.

Thank you for the comments. When I built this layout 17 years ago that was the only switches avalible at the time for me. I just finished 4 years ago. The bad thing was I had a over abunant supply of switches left and instead off waisting them I ended up using in my rail yard. I know there not as appealing as Shinohara or Peco but when you have them its hard to waist them.

My future layout that is in the planning use’s Peco’s switches.

Awesome layout, Russell.
