I was there yesterday and couldn’t find anything I needed. Am I falling down or what? I did pick up some dul coat and some latex rubber. I will try some PU truck casting Mike
If they are llike the one here they don’t have squat. Some O guage track, Some bits of Woodland Scenic, and a few odd pieces of this and that. Unless you are just starting, they are not much use- certainly not worth the trip even with the sale- which they apparently do every month anyway.

If you’re looking for single items (like starter sets) they occasionally run a 40% off any single item in the Sunday paper in Chicago, it’s usually on the back page of the comics. It works on sets, they mark them at full list price but 40% off is hard to beat even by internet retailers. Since I am not buying a lot of small items it was worth picking up single items along the way, they don’t have much selection beyond starter levels and some modeling stuff.
I was there today. Nothing of interest to me. Very little to choose from.
Once in a while I find a good buy at HL but their model railroad stuff is very limited. I go there to buy cheap craft paints to use for my structures but will take a look at what they have in their model railroad aisle. I would never make a special trip for model railroading supplies.
Anybody from the Aiken S.C. Area SORRY! We went in and bought all the WS people, trees, clump shurbs and Silver series rolling stock they had. [:D]
Manager said they will have more fter the New Year. They had a lot more than normal as far as WS.
