San Antonio, Texas LHS's?

I am heading to San Antonio. Any decent hobby shops to visit?

I grew up in San Antonio where my dad got out of the Air Force and joined the San Antonio fire dept. I had just began modeling back then and remember that there were only two hobby shops in the day. One was on Pat Booker in the Live Oak / Universal city area in the northeast part of town which is now closed but there was one on Fredericksburg Road on the west side of town. You might want to check that one out if it’s still there. It was a good LHS. Of course, that was 33 years ago and i’m sure time may have changed all the hobby shop locations…chuck

The hobby shop that was on Fredericksburg Rd. (Hobby Center) is no longer there, now it’s a soccer store. I’m not sure what happened but I think the owner passed and the store went shortly after.

The two hobby shops I recommend are Dibbles (on Donaldson) and Hobby Town (on Austin Hwy.), the exact locations are in the thread that someone referenced a couple posts up.
