How I wish this system had existed during in my Navy days when I lived in El Cajon and commuted to the waterfront. I couldn’t be happier to hear about the recent ridership success. Wave of the future across America!
I wonder will the politicians see the fare revenue as a source of more looting or wil they assure that the money goes to maintaining and expanding the system. I have difficuty in trusting the politicians of any stripe.
Southern California is no longer a place to scorn for coming up with decent transportation solutions. The only failure here has been the toll roads, which were built by the private sector; most of which are bankrupt.
