I’m currently building a modular O gauge layout and just brought two 2x4 sheets sandeply home with me for benchwork (primarily because it was straight and light). This particular module I’m currently on is about 28 inches long and 15 inches wide (enough to run two parallel lines of track). Will saneply do the job as the benchwork? Any recommendations for a better material that’s very light and flat?
