Santa Fe 3751 makes trip to Grand Canyon
I was on the return trip from williams back to los angeles. So cool.
Me too. Awesome trip. Also did Williams to the Grand Canyon roundtrip, which had time for photo run-bys in both directions.
One highlight was heading into Cajon Pass near sunset.
I envy those who did the whole trip. I and a buddy were on the Congress to Williams leg, the round trip to the canyon, and the Williams to Congress leg. Amazing trips up and down the Peavine. Kudos to the organizers, and also BNSF who have provided several memorable mainline steam trips this past decade.
