Hi Last time I knew there were two more Alco pa’s in Mexico from the Santa Fe and then the D&H that were all to gether with the original stuff that was at a museum in D&H paint with no plans to run them. Are the two locomotives still around in working order or what happened to them were they taken apart like 16 and 18 or if say the Grand Canyon Railway came along can they take the locos and part them in service or would they need to rebuild them from a rusty frame like the number 16 and 18?
I am not sure if this info will help you or not but anyway, here it is.
This is a link to the Classic Train forum and a thread about the Alco PAs.

Numbers 17 and 19 are at the National Railway Museum in Puebla, which is about a 2 hour drive east of Mexico City. They are wearing FNM and NdeM paint schemes that I’m not sure they wore in actual service. I don’t think the museum is planning on giving them up anytime soon.
Here are shots I took of them back in January:

Hi Ed [:)]
Gee I never thought about this, but I should have left you a message in the MR coffee shop about this. Stupid Me. [V]
Unique Derails they have there at the museum.
Funny thing, when I took the photos I knew nothing about the background of these two units. Now I find that they’re quite the topic. I also posted these photos in a thread mentioning them over on TrainBoard.
We’re actually making a trip to the museum on Friday. Bringing junior and two of the nieces. We’ll see how long they last at the museum before they get bored. I suspect that they’re more interested in the part of the trip where we go to the wild game park. [:D]
