Looks like you did duplicate postings - one with verbiage and this one without. Someone removed one, the one with your questions.

Ha, I wrote up answers and guidelines on the other one, and they are now in cyberspace.

To recap, the industries around the Santa Fe depend upon not only location, but time era being modeled. The days of long strings of reefers and tank cars and cattle cars are long gone, replaced by container cars and tub hoppers and chemical cars. Obviously the industries served by the RR changed accordingly.
