Okay Santa Fe experts, what year did they first use this paint scheme?

Don’t know diddley about the ATSF, but do know how to type “santa fe paint scheme history” in a search bar. Answer is 1960-1972.

Thanks. I tried that the other day but only got sites with the history of the railroad itself and photos but nothing with a definitive date.

Sounds like you have the same problem phrasing searches as I do. I tell my friends that I often get caught in a sort of electronic revolving door, getting answers I didn’t want, for questions I didn’t really ask!
