Santa Fe Park Train

Really wish I’d done more to shoot the Harbor Sub when it was still a through route. That being said, the locals do remain on the southern end of the line. Here’s a shot I waited something like two hours to get after seeing the train parked over Rosencrans.

The park area in Lawndale really belies the industrial and penned in nature of much of the Harbor Line.

Thanks for looking.

2632 is on my list of sightings around here. We still have some of the black & yellows and the blue & yellows, but probably not for too many more years.

Very nice, as always.

Mook

Very nice photo! Like the park was made to take pictures in. Sadly though, like Mooke said we probably won’t see these units in a few years.[:(]

Great photo Charles,

The lighting of your shots never seases to amaze me !

Many thanks… I want to get a lot more of this line… but it’s basically a train a day in each direction and almost impossible to chase (lots of Los Angeles traffic all around it).
