I am working on completing my G scale Super Chief set and this dome car was my first obstacle to overcome. Unlike the Walthers HO scale replica, the G scale version needed some work to get it to resemble the prototype. A while back, I asked you all for some information on the specifics of this car. I posted this thread in this section to thank all of those who gave me that some advice.
I especially wanted to thank Mr. SP for taking the time to mail me the blueprints for this car. I could not have made it without them!!
The finished dome has a complete and fully lighted interior. The car also includes the prototypical black roof walk behind the dome. Trust me, this was much more challenging than it looks. Enjoy the pictures.
