If X-Train can’t even run a small tourist operation, what makes someone think they will actually begin the LA to Las Vegas train service that have been promoting for the last 5 years?
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that X-Trains stock price has crashed - from $20 a share at inception 5 years ago, to less than a penny per share now.
Rode this line in 2001 and 2005. Enjoyed the ride and the buffet dinner at Lamy. Even met someone who knew a friend of one of my uncles.
Too bad. I rode that train several times over the years and took a cab ride once. It didn’t help when the bar and restaurant in Lamy closed. $159.00 seems a bit much for a 19 mile train ride
