There should be more railroads hosting Santa Trains. This would be great PR and would endear the the people living near the railroads to the railroad and help both understand each other better.

Christmas trains are not necessarily a rare thing, Kansas City Southern has run one for several years now.
Canadian Pacific runs a couple through out their system.
Canadian National runs one.
CSX still operates their Santa Train in SE Kentucky and NE Tennessee (was started by the Clinchfield RR some time back). This was the Train that in the UP’s Challenger went East in 1991 to pull the 50th edition of the Clinchfield’s Santa Train through Kentucky,Virginia and Tennessee.
I am also sure thatthere are others as well.
WK&S RR’s Christmas Trains comes to mind, in Pennsylvania.
