Santa's helpers get upset..

literally… upset.

I came out of a Michaels craft store today to find this accident on the 4 lane that bisects a large shopping center.

The two vehicles involved are (first photo) the sedan sitting sideways in the road and the driver is in jeans talking to an officer and, of course, the upside down Ford Escape. Direction of travel is away from my position. I have no idea how it happened. The 4 lane is not part of the public highway system, rather it’s part of the shopping complex itself. I’m standing in a large parking lot for stores on this side and there are parking lots on the opposite side for stores on that side. The accident happened between exits/entrances to the parking lots, so I’m guessing it wasn’t a case of someone entering the 4 lane and hitting a vehicle on that roadway.

It’s dangerous when driving anytime, but especially this time of year when so many are on the road and everyone is in such a hurrry. Just be careful out there.

Nice weathering on the Ford Escape. Did Agro do that one? Is it chalk, or paint?

Hopefully it’s nothing more than bent sheet metal and a couple of badly-dented checking accounts.

Not sure this is appropriate. It looks like they’re tending to an injury off to the side in the first picture.

Anyone going to model this? Be the first on your block, Don’t wait!!

Looks like my east and west bound trains when I forgot to throw the turnout to a siding track…maybe they need to install an ABS system there…are you sure that’s not a Georgia drag strip?..LOL chuck

Hey! Thats in Macon at the Target shopping center! When did that happen?

No, no injuries that I could see. This happened about 1 p.m. today and whether someone was at fault or it was one of those unavoidable things, I certainly couldn’t say.
