From Canadaland 4:00 pm, Dec. 24, Just had a guy in a red suit stop and ask directions to the United States, seems he was lost in the fog and snow, he was in a sleigh with some little wee mooses pulling it, hope he makes to you tonight, the sleigh was full of little toy train stuff, must be for the children eh?
There’s a real strong west wind down here in the Houston area! I sure hope it doesn’t blow St. Nick off course and he misses Texas and ends up in Louisiana or Mississippi!!!
This will be my 65th visit from the Jolly ol Elf, and like most of those visits, I do believe he will be bringing down some train stuff…
Here’s wishing “yo’allll” a very Happy Holiday Season!

I remember one Christmas Eve in Chicago many years ago, when my neighbor yelled out the window… “I don’t care who you are fat man, get those reindeer off my roof”!!!
Santa maybe a little delayed…went out to the layout room to wrap gifts and heard my trains running??
Came around the corner and the jolly old elf himself was taking my new CP AC4400 for spin and pulling a long container train, so had to jump in and help Santa finish off the Ops Session so he could get going onto his rounds…
So sorry if he maybe a little behind as he left the yard in a mess and I had to get him to fix it up before he jetted off, and he took a few of my car cards to boot…probably will get those on his return trip…
So Merry Christmas all… from me and my family up here in the Great White North…
Santa sure isn’t going to like coming to Kansas and Oklahoma. As I am typing this there is horrible snow and ice coming down hard. I hope he and whoever has to travel makes it safely to their destinations.
Santa already made it thru Nebraska helped by a good 35 knot tailwind. Lucklily we had enough lights on, including some Instrument Landing System type ones, so he could land in the near blizzard conditions. He dropped of some nice presents including a Digitrax SuperChief for me. I didn’t think I was that good!
