Sarah's EASTERN WHERE IS IT??????????

Sarah says the line goes through Reading, but you say it’s south of the Harrisburg Line (Pheonixville-Norristown)?

You must mean south of Norristown ON the Harrisburg Line. There is no other line south of the Harrisburg Line that goes thru Reading.

Hmmmm We are being nasty here, aren’t we? I can’t buy in to it being on the Harrisburg line since I do not think AT&SF/BNSF power would be leading there, for reasons previously posted. But on the old B&O, like say in Chester/West Chester?

Sarah, give it up already! I think Don’s probably close enough to qualify (want to name a city, Don?).

Nice job, though, Kiddo–I never got two pages’ worth on any of mine!

Foreign power can and does lead on the Harrisburg line…

Sarah, would it be Bridgeport, PA? I’ve been reading everyone’s posts here,
and looking at a map, and decided I’d try and take a guess. How close am I
on my guess??[swg]

Well I’ll be…CW you guessed it. Yes it is in Bridgeport, PA. Now I’ll give you extra points if you can tell me the name of the street and street number in the background. LOL Just Kidding.

The line is on the west side of the Schuykill River, now belongs to NS, was ex Conrail, ex PRR ROW. It is apart of the NS Harrisburg Division, and is on the Philadelphia Sub. The line begins in Trenton, NJ and runs up to Harrisburg. It is mostly signle track territory through Phila, double track into Manyunk through Conshohocken, it then turns into tripple track through Bridgeport up to Valley Forge.

Interesting huh???

Non cab signal locos can lead provided they’re not moving thru Harrisburg. An Allentown to Pavonia train would be one possibliltiy…

DeKalb St.

(once you know the city, it’s pretty easy to figure out from Google Local. [:)])
