saw BNSF locomotives in Bay County, michigan's Hampton Township today

For any BNSF fans out there in Michigan, today i saw two BNSF black, cream and red locomotives parked on the CSX line that goes across M-25 in Hampton Township next door to Bay City. They were parked between Wendy’s and KFC. My guess is they stopped for lunch since they were there fro abotu 20 minutes while i was inside Save-A-Lot and were still there. The numbers of the locomotives were #9682(lead locomotive) and #9436. My guess is they are SD70’s. Does anyone know if i am wrong or right on that? They must have been leased to haul along coal train to the Consumers Energy’s Karn-Weadock power plant near the mouth of the Saginaw River.

Its cream and green by the way. Both are ex-BN SD70MACs.BNSF 9682 was renumbered from BN on 1/10/04 and BNSF 9436 was renumbered from BN on 6/12/01.

I am a true BNSF fan.[:D]

Not leased–just run through to the plant. The coal came from Powder River, and was shipped via BNSF and interchanged to CSX in Chicago. The SD70Ms are typical coal-train power on BNSF.
