there have been a couple of times ive seen a private car on the back of amtrack trains running on ns’ former nyc route.that would be a nice ride.

…Yes, wouldn’t that be a great ride if one had the resourses to do it without any concern of cost…Just sit back and watch the scene unfold…in privacy…in one’s own comfort. Letting someone else do the “driving”…Even sit on the “back porch”, if it was so equipped…Wow…!

Question: Is there a “FRED” installed on the back of the last car on a passenger train…?

Well…Its cheaper then chartering a private plane…20 of your closest freinds and split it at 1.50 a mile…and anywhere from 800.00 to 1200.00 a day rental

Which direction was this train going? Or another possiblity is it was the Georgia 300.

Not usually I dont think.

It was probably a CN car. CN has blue buisness cars.
