Scale Hinges?

Hi, this might sound crazy, but does anyone produce HO scale hinges for scratchbuilding?

Grandt Line did at one time make scale hinges.

I googled it. It seems like scale hinges are regular fare for R/C airplanes etc. I saw one hit that mentioned making scale hinges for G-Scale.

If someone really wanted to be helpful, they would have suggested using the search function at Walthers website. Lots of different hinges are listed. You blew it.

While you may not charge money for your humor,the audience still pays…in having to endure your wit, or lack thereof.

Then again, if you had searched for HO scale hinges at Walthers you would know there were only 16 results…most of which are out of stock…

Anthony, Grandt Line has plastic (non-working) hinges, and PSC offers both working- and non-working hinges. Of course, you could always try scratchbuilding your own. [swg]

I’ve got them with the fence from ALLOY FORMS…

No. They are greatly oversized (perhaps by at least three times) for the application. Also, there is a man-sized opening caused by the oversized hinges. But at least they would appear to work. … Hey, your track detail looks good.

Next idea.Those hinges are made from flatended brass wire.

You might check out doll house/miniatures suppliers (yes, I’m a doll house builder, too.). 1/24 scale cabinet hinges may be close enough to pass as barn door hinges in HO.
