Help ! How do you measure or determine scale speed?

I like that. Speed is still distance divided by time, you just need to multiply the distance by the scale factor (160, 87.1, etc.) and then convert to the unit of your choice (miles, kilometers, furlongs, or whatever).

I answered this awhile back. You gotta get just right so you can see the little speedometer in the cab of the loco while it’s runnin down the track. I thought everybody knew that.
