Cool!

I am also considering something bases on the Kato system, as I do not have a ‘real Layout’ but would like to runsome of my matured models that I built for a future, and it does wayne on me heavily!

I think it is great you have a workable & a nice system there.
Please keep us updated & how things are going.
Also, if possible bring tips to us who have not done this system before & let us know what it takes to make it really great.

You have made nice progress, it is looking good!

The instructions are available for download on the WS web site.

Looking Really Neat!!

Thanks for the continuing Progress shots & info!!

You’re working really fast! Took me ages to get that far on one of my early small layouts.

.

I have the same layout in the box as I am trying to convert another HO layout to n scale you have given me the motivation to do this layout as I work on the other as it is taking to much time. Where did you get the track plans from using Kato track as apposed to Atlas? VERY NICE!!!

.

You are kidding, right!!! You have done an amazing amount in a short time and it looks pretty good, even at this stage of construction.

Looking good Brian. Been watching the thread and your progress, so keep us updated. If you see some mistakes, a layout is always a work in progress. I’ve taken buildings off the layout and redone/repainted. Trees and landscaping can hide stuff that bothers you too.

Good Luck

Derek

Remember, most of your mistakes will be covered up later once you finish up scenery. I have seen all stages of a layout in progress, including some by some of the best and at certain points, they all look pretty bad but end up looking fantastic. On my layout, I had to finish one scene just because at certain stages of construction it looked so bad!!!

Looks GREAT, please keep the pictures comming.

What did you you use for the road? Any tips, I am trying to work up the nerve to build the roads.

Thanks Ken
