I was shopping at Walmart and come acrossed HO scale John Deer tractors and equipment. I also come acrossed a HO John Deer train set. I guess I’m going to watch Walmart more closely.[8D][^][:O][tup]
They’ve got Norscott Catapiller equipement and and Malibu autos in HO also.
I was wondering about that. I haven’t seen them yet at my Walmart.[:D]
I keep seeing people say this but have yet to find any thing in any of our area WalMarts (about 6 of them).
Texas-They are in the toy dept. Ask for the mgr. Maybe they can help you. I’ve seen all these things at 3 here in Tn.
Yea I noticed the John Deere train set. Not bad, but I hate my local Wal-Mart and try to aviod it as much as possible
I have purchased dozens of the ho cars, and a mess of the Norscot construction equipment at our Wal-marts here. All the Deere stuff I’ve seen locally here has been 1/64th though.
No Ho stuff in walmart canada yet. Hoping soon
I am always amazed at how many people ‘hate’ Wal-mart! They don’t want their stores to be built in the first place, and never shop in them after they are built.
But I also notice how full the Wal-mart parking lots are… year -round.

I like Walmart. They are a lot better then any Zellers or K-mart store and their selection is always great.
The thing about Wal-Mart is it seems that it depends on the location. I have found some Wal-Mart’s to have a great selection, especially the Wal-Mart Super Centers with the grocery sections. Great prices on everything, groceries are always much lower than any other store in town. As far as the toy section goes I have seen them vary from location to location. When we lived in New Orleans the toy section had no HO scale anything including trains. When we evacuated due to Katrina to Sevierville, TN (near the Smoky Mtns.) the toy selection there had much more variety. And here in Wake Forest, NC, the toy selection is somewhere in the middle. I notice that the outdoor and sporting section here is much larger too.
