Which Scouts and Switchers did not have the ill fated plastic motors?? Thanks!!!
The 1130 and the 2034 to name two ,have the2034-100 motor. The 233,235,235,245,246 and the 1062 do have plastic . The 249 and 250 have the 250-100 motor- no plastic.The 1101,1050,1060,1110,1120,and 6110 are plastic. The 1615 Steam Switcher has the metal 1615-100 motor. The older 1654,1655,1656 are odd .I cannot comment on their performance. I pulled this info from a sevice manual. A great resource to own.
The 2034 and the 1615 have cast boilers. The 1130 does have a rare cast boiler but mostly found in plastic.
