http://www.flickr.com/photos/53243414@N00/page1/?details=1 I finished the car! Take a look if you will and let me know what you think. Also I’d be thankful if someone will fix the Addy. Regards, Bobby
Thank you very much Jon. Bobby
Bobby you have another great tank car their and by the way I have a place for it on my layout.
Bobby,
Nice work as always!!
Nice work Bobby, the detail is incredible!
Thank you all, I’m happy you like it. Bobby
That is incredible.
Very impressive model building. Both this car and the cryo tanker, Great examples of good old fashion quality scratchbuilding. Thanks for sharing. Dan
Excellent work and good, clear, informative photography. In the last few months I purchased both of Morning Sun’s books on tank cars (one volume for cars with center frames, and the other for cars where the tank is the frame ----- crudely stated one volume is pre 1970 older cars with exceptions, and the other is post 1960 newer cars with exceptions) and am still amazed at the variety of cars and paint schemes. I know Atlas and a few other manufacturers have done a decent job with tank car models but based on my review of those prototype photo books I would say that in general, tank cars are an under-served element of the freight car fleet from a modeling perspective compared to box cars. Having said that, as your excellent models show, there is a certain delicacy to tank car models that makes them difficult to package and display.

I thank you all. I put my heart into my models, I do a lot of research and chasing down photos. Regards, Bobby
