i just got back into model rail roading, my question is this, i want to model some modern motor coaches and inter city buses i found a ton of paper buses. would you suggest just resizing them or useing them as templates to model them out of styrene[?]
and does any one know where i can find tech drawings of U.S. protoype fire app for scratch building[?]

While you can create buses out of various materials there are models already available in N, HO, and O.
Were you planning on using the paper cut out buses as back drop vehicles?
The Scale Fire House has lots of info on modelling fire apparatus and there are some dedicated fire truck modellers that hang out at the Fine Scale Modeler forums. While they mostly model 1/24 or 1/25 alot of the info can be used to model HO fire trucks.

i wanted to model some buses for some city traffic, like chater buses etc . i saw some models in the walthers cataloge but i have yet to see some of the newer MCI motor coaches. the only ones i seen so far are paper models . they dont look to bad if you just use the body and build up the frame, and use budd wheels and tires
