Scratch Builing Opportunities

Good Evening Everyone:
Its been a while since I last checked in. My question centeres around using wood to scratch build with. Im really enjoying some projects that include basswood, sheet & srtip. Can you point me in the best direction to buy the materials at a non LHS price? I was hoping some of you MRR veterins have crossed this point and filled this need from past projects.

I am hoping to get new pics up and posted very soon. The Layout is looking better & better each weekend.

Hope this post finds you all well,
PJ

Hello PJ,

Try a craft store like Micheals , yeah yeah I know ,I thought the same thing. This craft store has bass word ,glue ,model paint, ect . Give it a try if you wanna save a couple of bucks.

There are plenty of sources available. Most hobby shops and kraft stores such as Michael’s and The Rag Shop are good for general wood sizes. If you want specialty cuts for RR building an excellent source is Northeastern Scale Lumber.
