My guess is that Kalmbach has purchased the rights to the forum software from Snitz, and does their own hosting. If that is the case, the discussion in the link should be moot, with regard to Trains.com.
I hope that is the case. In spite of it’s flaws, it has served us pretty well for the last 5 years.
many of us think the forum software is due for an upgrade , lack of future support for the current version may tip the scales in that direction
yes it has , thanks to MR for providing it for us to use !
I agree i hope were not losing our site,this is the most helpful forum to all of us new and experianced modelers

If you really want an answer, ask Bergie directly via email. Include the link you posted. Posting messages to Bergie in the forum doesn’t always work, email does.
