I am drawing plans for my scratch built Sperry Flour (Ogden Utah), and am trying to decide what base to build the mill walls with. All concrete and brick will be styrene, but due to the size and number of windows, I was thinking of using plexiglass as the base to attach everything to so it would have some rigidity at a low price. Can styrene adhere to plexiglass with modeling cements…if so, what would be the best choice. I’ve heard several people mention methyl ethyle ketone from the big box stores. Any Suggestions?
