why do some of the SD60Ms have three windows instead of one and how can i model one[?][:)]
Early SD60M’s bought by UP (6085-6232), Soo Line (6051-6055) & BN (9200-9249) came with the 3-window North American Cab. It was a minor modification of the original 4-window NA Cab used by Canadian National. Atlas made their N-scale SD60M in a 3 window version. Rail Power Products made a 3-window cab kit that could be retrofitted on the Proto 2000 SD60M. The first run of the Proto 2000 SD60M’s had the 3 window cab. Later SD60Ms had a 2-window cab, not 1.
